In 1999 Mitch Hawksby created Inspired Automotive from the love and passion around cars in general and the improvement of there apearance and asthetics.

Working in a bodyshop to create a bodykit build from paper mache which then turned into a full creation using fibreglass his first magazine featured car was build and featured cente page in FastFord Magazine with an 8 page spread.

This is where his initial detailing skills came from as creating a one off pearl flip paint alongside Wood Autos in Wakefield which was painted to the feature car and then machine polished over a 5 day period, This was the first true experience and skill creation of machine polishing.

From there Mitch built and restored a further 8 magazine featured cars going into publications such as FastFord, FastCar Magazine, Performance Ford along with others.

Moving to 2022/2023 we have expanded our business to a state of the art brand new building in Thurnscoe, covering Barnsley, Sheffield and Rotherham areas and offering the latest in Detailing Services such as ProFilm PPF, Ceramic Pro Coatings, MetaMark, Orafoil and 3m Vinyl Wrapping Films and Car Care Products.
